UPDATE- MARCH 27, 2020

It’s with great sadness what we bring news that Rosie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This girl was perfect in every way. She was put here by God to give these children 2 years of Joy.

While we are saddened by this news, our hearts are lifted to know she was here doing God’s work and has returned home to him.

HER STORY

Rosie kept escaping from her owner and would end up at the 16th District. We finally confronted her owner and he explained she was dumped on him and he just didn't have the means or time to take care of her. She needed to be in a special diet and was sick all the time.

Hoping we would find her a good home, he relinquished her to us. Thanks to you, our wonderful network, we were able to give her the care she needed to get well.

Officer Hart knew of a family looking for a pet and Rosie seemed to have the right demeanor. This family has 2 special needs children; Zachary and Emma.

Nobody could have known how well Rosie would fit in. The pics alone melted our hearts. Rosie is a beautiful soul and she is doing God's work by sharing her love with Zachary and Emma. It was a match made in heaven.
